Who i am...

Hello everyone, my name is Esteban Oñate. I am a systems engineering student, and I have just successfully completed the fourth semester. I am from Valledupar, and I enjoy soccer. This is my blog, and during these days, we will be presenting what we have learned in class and applied to see our progress each day.

A: Hey there! Have you had the chance to meet Sergio?

B: No, I haven't.

A: Sergio is my new colleague, and I thought it would be great for you two to meet.

Namaste (India): In India and nearby countries, "Namaste" involves pressing palms together and a slight bow.

I have visited Barranquilla, Bogotá, Santa Marta, and Medellín. I don't remember much about Medellín because I was younger at the time, In Bogotá, I also won a stuffed animal for succeeding in a ride at Salitre Mágico.

Unid 2, GOING TO THE MOVIES

°Lesson 1, FOR AND SINCE

Today, we discussed the use of "for" and "since," but first, we need to understand when to use each one.

For:

° Usage: "For" is used to indicate the duration of time during which an action has occurred or continued.

Since:

° Usage: "Since" is used to indicate the specific point in time when an action started. It is used with a precise point in time.

My favorite movie might be Endgame; it's about the Avengers attempting to undo Thanos's actions by time-traveling to alter destiny, It is very interesting and entertaining, Its genre is science fiction.

Unit 3, staying in hotels

°Lesson 1. Leave and take a message

A: Hi, I'd like to speak with Esteban.

B: I'm going to call that room for you.

A: Okay.

B: I'm sorry, but he's not answering. Would you like to leave a message?

A: Please tell him Victor called. I will go to the gym, if he needs me, I will be there.

B: Is that all?

A: Oh, I almost forgot! Also, tell him to wait for me and have dinner together.

B: Sure.

A: Yeah, I'm okay. Thankfully, no one was injured.

B: Thank goodness. What happened?

A: The traffic suddenly stopped, and the car behind me couldn't brake in time. It bumped into the back of my car.

B: That sounds stressful. Any major damage?

A: Fortunately, it's not too bad. I'll need to fix the bumper, but it's nothing too serious.
